The lab is directed by <a href=\"https:\/\/rap-lab.github.io\/team\/zren\/\">Prof. Zhongqiang (Richard) Ren<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We research <strong>Robotics, Autonomy and Planning<\/strong>, with the focus on fundamental <strong>motion planning<\/strong> and <strong>path planning<\/strong> problems for <strong>single and multiple robots<\/strong>. We leverage and advance the frontier of motion planning, multi-agent path planning, combinatorial search and optimal control. These problems are often NP-hard, and our research exploits the underlying structure of these problems to develop algorithms that balance between <strong>runtime efficiency<\/strong> and <strong>solution quality<\/strong> with <strong>rigorous guarantees<\/strong>, while being <strong>deployable to physical robots<\/strong>. These problems arise in <strong>warehouse logistics, manufacturing and search-and-rescue<\/strong>. For more information, please visit our <a href=\"https:\/\/rap-lab.github.io\">Github Page<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u6211\u4eec\u96b6\u5c5e\u4e8e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sjtu.edu.cn\/\">\u4e0a\u6d77\u4ea4\u901a\u5927\u5b66<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ji.sjtu.edu.cn\/\">\u5bc6\u897f\u6839\u5b66\u9662<\/a>\uff0c\u7531<a href=\"https:\/\/rap-lab.github.io\/team\/zren\/\">\u4efb\u4e2d\u5f3a\u6559\u6388<\/a>\u6307\u5bfc\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u6211\u4eec\u7814\u7a76<strong>\u673a\u5668\u4eba\u5b66\uff0c\u81ea\u4e3b\u7cfb\u7edf\uff0c\u667a\u80fd\u89c4\u5212<\/strong>\uff0c\u5c24\u5176\u5173\u6ce8<strong>\u5355\u673a\u5668\u4eba\u548c\u591a\u673a\u5668\u4eba<\/strong>\u4e2d\u7684<strong>\u8fd0\u52a8\u89c4\u5212\u548c\u8def\u5f84\u89c4\u5212<\/strong>\u95ee\u9898\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u5229\u7528\u8fd0\u52a8\u89c4\u5212\uff0c\u591a\u673a\u5668\u4eba\u8def\u5f84\u89c4\u5212\uff0c\u7ec4\u5408\u641c\u7d22\uff0c\u6700\u4f18\u63a7\u5236\u7b49\u9886\u57df\u7684\u76f8\u5173\u6280\u672f\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u63a8\u52a8\u8fd9\u4e9b\u9886\u57df\u7684\u53d1\u5c55\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u7814\u7a76\u7684\u95ee\u9898\u5728\u8ba1\u7b97\u590d\u6742\u5ea6\u4e0a\u5f80\u5f80\u662fNP-hard\u95ee\u9898\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u5229\u7528\u8fd9\u4e9b\u95ee\u9898\u4e2d\u7684\u7ed3\u6784\u6765\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7b97\u6cd5\uff0c\u5e73\u8861\u8ba1\u7b97\u901f\u5ea6\u548c\u6c42\u89e3\u8d28\u91cf\uff0c\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e25\u683c\u7684\u7406\u8bba\u4fdd\u8bc1\uff0c\u5e76\u6700\u7ec8\u90e8\u7f72\u5728\u5b9e\u4f53\u673a\u5668\u4eba\u4e0a\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u7814\u7a76\u7684\u95ee\u9898\u5e7f\u6cdb\u5b58\u5728\u4e8e\u4ed3\u50a8\u7269\u6d41\uff0c\u667a\u6167\u751f\u4ea7\uff0c\u641c\u7d22\u6551\u63f4\u7b49\u5e94\u7528\u4e2d\u3002 \u66f4\u591a\u4fe1\u606f\uff0c\u8bf7\u6d4f\u89c8<a href=\"https:\/\/rap-lab.github.io\">\u8fd9\u91cc<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are part of the UM-SJTU Joint Institute at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU).
